Production Of Magazine

For the production of the magazine, we began by taking photos using a digital camera, and these photos would then be put up on the magazine and contets page.  The photos i took were of a Student with their arms stretched out, and this was for my front cover.  The other photos i took were of the new canteen and a close up of two students faces looking in opposite directions, and this was for my contents page.  i began my magazine front cover in photoshop by selecting a mast head which was the name of my magazine 'INSPIRE' and i edited this to have a verdana font and a golden/black colour to match the photo i would add.  i then added a photo of a student and cut out the background and put him in the middle of the cover, his t-shirt had a golden/black colour which matched my mast head.  i then did four seperate articles around the cover using black and dark red colours.  For the background i used a gradient of gold and white and this went well with my colours i used for text and mast head.

For the contents i used the same font and style of mast head as the front cover and this one read 'CONTENTS'.  i then typed into a text box like i did with the articles, the contents of my magazine and the pages they were ojn and used a dark read colour for all of this text.  next to this i inserted a picture of the new canteen and resized it to fit well with its surroundings.  at the bottom of the page i used two photos i had taken of different students and cut out the background, and placed rthem next to each other looking up in opposite directions.  for the background of my contents page i used the same colour for the fronty cover but a slightly different gradient.  i then added a page number '3' to the bottom right of the page to show that it is page 3.
